This week Year 6 pupils played in the NEHSSP regional tag rugby tournament.
Despite having relatively little tag rugby experience, they enjoyed themselves immensely but failed to overcome strong and more experienced local teams losing marginally in both their opening games and drawing against St Michael's with whom they finished joint third in their group.
All the players wore the recently purchased Newport red T shirts and looked very smart indeed.
For those interested in rugby , Aldershot and Fleet RFC welcome new members and London Irish RFC have recently completed a coaching programme with year 4 pupils.
