Newport Junior celebrate WORLD BOOK DAYA big thanks goes out to all the families who made generous donations of unwanted good quality books. Our book swap was an enormous success.
Some of our school council members helped organise the book swap.
Children chose books to take home.
Parents were invited in to read with their child at 2.45pm.
It was lovely to see so many parents supporting the fun and importance of reading.
We look forward to seeing all the fantastic work that the children have been doing this week in support of world book day.
Thanks again to all the children, teachers and families for their support.
