What makes a community?This is a very important question which Year Six have been exploring this week.
We decided that we could belong to lots of different communities - all of which range in size. Some of us thought that communities exist where there are groups of people who share common interests or ideas.
Here is a list of some of the communities which we think we belong to:
Scouts- Local community
- Newport School
- Chelsea Football Supporters
- Christianity
- Manchester United Football Supporters - 'Red Devils'
- Friendship groups
- Sport Communities - cricket, netball, swimming, football
- Wizkid - Newport's online community
- Families.
