Happy Easter!

Year 4 had a busy last week of term. At the beginning, we all enjoyed finishing our Viking Longboats. Here are some pictures of our creations:

We then learnt about why Easter is so important to Christians. Children were able to describe the Easter story of the last week in the life of Jesus and understood that the cross is an important symbol for Christians. In groups, children used this knowledge to either produce a comic strip to describe the story of the last week or created a collage of symbols and words associated with Easter.

A special well done to Amelia Knights-Holland (in 4J) who received the equality 'Be the Best' medal for always involving others in group work and treating others fairly and equally.
