Sculptastic work in the sunshine

It's a dirty job but someone's got to do it.

Yes it's Art Week and our brief was to create art works from "anything natural"
We have researched sculpture works by a variety of artists such as Serena de la Hey and Robert Smithson and have used these to inspire our own work.
Year 5 children have been busy collecting natural materials from our local environment and designing and creating sculptures from a variety of soils, stones, chippings, gravel, wood and "fluff " to make some very interesting and innovative sculptures.

We have been very careful not to use any living materials and will have our exhibition this Friday afternoon just outside the hall. Here are a few snippets of our work so far.
