Year 6 Masters of Golf took to the Driving Range!
Today, after school, eight members of year 6 took part in the Tri Golf Championships at Samuel Cody. With eight stations on offer to gain points on, all children where full of energy, skill and enthusiasm - even in the hot weather!
Putting was definitely the teams strong point with many cones hit and many target zones reached. However, it took us a while to develop the golf skill of chipping but as the tournament continued the children's skills progressed and our point score grew higher and higher.
We are eagerly awaiting the overall results to find out our final position in the championship! Thank you to all the parents who gave up their time to bring the children to the festival, we couldn't do it without you! Well done to all the children involved, you did the school proud, especially in the hot, sunny weather!
