Quicksticks Hockey Tournament

Today, Alderwood Junior School played 3 matches against local schools. Although the competition is for years 5 and 6, Miss Cooke has recognised many talented players from year 4 as well, with half of the team from year 4! We won 2 of our matches because we played well as a team. It was lovely to see such great sportsmanship which is a real strength of our school. We drew the other match but we almost won! Unfortunately, Guillemont scored in the last minute. We loved playing in our brand new kit; everyone was extremely smart. Thanks again to parents for waiting around in the cold and cheering the children on.
