Rollercoaster Rides and Wild Animals!
Year 6 had an incredible day at Chessington World of Adventures. To start the day they completed a forces workshop and learnt all about what forces act on the rollercoaster before going on them. For the rest of the day, children found themselves feeling the force on rides like the Vampire and Dragon's Fury or getting drenched on the Monkey Swings and Tiger Rock.
Whilst at Chessington, the children were also able to see some wild animals, including tigers and penguins! We thought about bringing a tiger back with us but we didn't think Mrs de Sausmarez would be too impressed!
All children were very well behaved throughout the day. I hope they get a good rest over the weekend; I know us teachers certainly will!
