Year 3 and 4 Hockey Tournament

Today, children from Years 3 and 4 took part in their first hockey tournament at St Michael's Junior School. Despite playing on grass, when we normally play on our 3G pitch, the children did extremely well and won one of their matches, drew one and lost one. Our first match was against Wellington where Joshua Oram and Vinny Rogers scored some amazing goals! The final score was 4-1. Then we played St Michael's Junior School. Unfortunately, we were winning but St Michael's scored in the last minute so it ended on 1-1. Our last match was against Tower Hill where we lost in the final minute. However, it was a tough match and the children never gave up. Thanks once again to all of the parents who sat on the sidelines constantly cheering the children on.
