Quicksticks Hockey

Nine year five and six pupils (including their amazing parents) braved the cold weather today to take part in a quicksticks hockey tournament. Unfortunately many schools dropped out at the last minute so the children only managed to play two matches and one friendly. They fought magnificiently and managed to win one of their matches, with two brilliant goals from Nathan Burrows (who was the only year five) and Brook Colton, and lost one of their matches. Melia and Brook worked well to push the ball up in the first game which resulted in the team's 3-0 win. All of the children played really well and I was very proud of their determination and focus. The players included: Meila D'Santos, Amelia Higgs, Lois Malbon, Dominic Masson, Shannon Cronin, Nathan Burrows, Brook Colton, Mollie Devanney and Alex Williams. Thank you once again to the parents who kept the children in high spirits despite the windy weather.

Well done everyone,

Miss Cooke
