Newport boys yesterday competed in The Football League Community Cup organised by Aldershot Town FC. at Frogmore Community College.
For some reason there was a very poor turn out (it was packed last year!).
However this did not dampen the boys' enthusiasm as they had come to play football.....!
The Newport reds played round robin games in a mini league against the other contestants and ended up with the runners up pennant after beating the eventual winners, All Saints in their final game.
Well done boys, hopefully the weather will pick up and we can resume our league and cup games.
Mrs Bryant would like to thank Mr Ady Wigmore (No. 1 supporter)for his continual support and to Reece and Richard's mums for their support. Mrs Bryant said " The boys represented the school very well indeed."
