Walk Like an Egyptian!!

Year 4 turned into ancient Egyptians last week. We had a fantastic day, with a visting Pharaoh, and a lesson in making Egyptian clay tiles!

For half the day, a theatre workshop came to do a drama session focussing on ancient Egyptian life. The children dressed up as various ancient Egyptian characters, and they definately got into their roles!!

The children had created some fantastic outifts, with amazing headresses and jewellery.

For the other half of the day, the children made ancient Egyptian clay tiles, that they had designed previously.
