Year 3 Ukulele Festival

The day of the string plucking ukulele festival finally arrived! Ninety of the instruments were shipped to their destination and tuned to perfection in readiness for their musicians arrival. The musicians in question, arrived at the venue in the afternoon and high levels of excitement and anticipation were felt by all. In total over two hundred keen young musicians plucked and strummed their ukuleles in unison. The musical extravaganza was followed by Hawaiian themed refreshments provided our welcoming host Talavera Junior School. In general, a fun-filled afternoon was had by all.
