Bacon Butty Week for Year 6

Everyone knows that the most important meal of the day is breakfast as it ensures your body is fuelled up for the day ahead. With Year 6 sitting their SATs this week, a special "one week only treat" was organised with Newport's wonderful chef, Mrs Tracy Henchy.

Year 6 pupils were able to come in early to school to fuel up for SATs with a bacon ( egg alternative was available for vegetarians too) butty and a fruit juice. Year 6 staff joined in the breakfast club too. Miss Lane being very partial to crispy bacon! It was a wonderful start to each day with everybody relaxing and chatting over breakfast. The children , who have all worked extremely hard throughout the year, all did their very best in the tests.

A very big thank you to Mrs Henchy for coming in early to cook our special SATs breakfasts.
