Egyptian Day

On Thursday, Year Four travelled back in time to the days of ancient Egypt. Everybody looked amazing and made a huge effort with their costumes, from mummies to Tutankhamun and other famous pharaohs.

The children participated in a fantastic drama workshop, learning about the many vital uses of the river Nile, the discovery of King Tut's tomb and the social hierarchy of ancient Egypt. Back in the classroom, we learnt about pointillism and created our very own ancient Egyptian inspired artwork.

Please look at our photos from what has been a great day!
