Science and RE Day

Science Day

Year 4 spent Thursday carrying out an investigation to discover whether there are more bugs at the front or back of the school. We started by classifying animals and looking at their different features. After, we went outside with white sheets to begin the experiment. In groups, we put white sheets down and shook the bushes to see what bugs fell out. This experiment will be carried out every term. We will share our findings at the end of the year.

RE Day

Having discovered where bugs like to live on Thursday, we spent Friday talking about where we live and our sacred places. We discussed what it meant for something to be 'sacred' and looked at why some Christians consider Churches to be sacred places. At the end of day we created our sacred place using any resources we wanted to show our sacred place to others.
