Last week, year four enjoyed visiting Aldershot Library on Thursday 8th October, where children were able to take a book out by either using their own cards or getting brand new memberships with this fantastic local service. The children provided some poems they had written earlier on in the term. If you would like to go and visit these, then they are on display in the children's section of the library.
On Friday, we all looked at animal poetry, particularly focusing on animals found in the forest, such as moles, badgers, foxes, owls and spiders. Once we had explored a range of poems and collected vocabulary, we wrote our own, even performing them! Have a look at our amazing work:
