Last Tuesday Year 6 girls travelled to Wayvell to compete in the high 5 tournament. The girls faced a difficult challenge as they had to work twice as hard with less players (a very different match to the normal 7 aside format which they normally play after school). The girls played admirably and did not give up once. Miss Rockett and Miss Cooke were very pleased to see so much encouragement and support among the team. Even after 2 hours of netball the girls still had smiles on their faces after battling with the glorious weather.
A special thanks go to Miss Lane and Mr and Mrs Graham for taking the children from school, to Wayvell and then dropping children off at their homes. Without them we would not have been able to take part in the tournament. We would also like to thank Mrs Steels for supporting the girls.
Once again, congratulations girls. You fought until the final whistle!
