Sports Week Day 2

And the Penalties Keep Flying In!

Day two of sports week saw the year fours and fives taking on their class teacher in the penalty shoot out challenge! Some spectacular saves were made by Miss Parker, Miss George and Miss Watts but still the goals kept flying in! It's a shame the same can't be said about our English football team last night!

While the other year groups were taking part in various sporting activities such as baseball, tri golf and archery, the year 6's spent the day practising their Brazilian dance moves ready for a dance off at the end of the day!

Maths lessons gave children the opportunity to create their own athlete profile and discover which Olympic event they would be best suited for. In English lessons the children continued to research their chosen Olympic team, with some discovering information about our own Olympian Miss Twell, who qualified for the 2016 Olympics on Sunday! Well done Miss Twell. We are all looking forward to watching you in Rio and hopefully we can take inspiration from you this week and challenge ourselves to be the best that we can be!
